Sorry for my long silence. I was bored with my stitching for a bit and pulled out an old UFO. I had started Donna Gelsinger’s Christmas Dreams by HAED last November and only got about 200 stitches into it. I pulled it out and finished my first two pages on it. It is a bit confetti heavy, but the detail is amazing. I had no idea the cup would have a holly border on it until I filled in all the stitches and there it was. J I am doing the large format chart since I ordered this one as a hard copy. The large format is much easier on my eyes if I am not printing it and enlarging it from a .pdf.
I started in the left bottom corner and finished the two pages going up the side, pages 56 and 45. I am tenting this one 2×1 on 28 count white Monaco fabric. I’m really excited that ornaments are showing up already in the background.
Next rotation I plan to move to the right along the bottom and work on the plate of cookies you can just see peeking in the corner. This week I plan to pull out Matt Stewart’s Frodo and Galadriel, but I have a feeling Christmas Dreams will be back on my q-snap before I know it.
